What is Online Movement Therapy?

Fitness at Home

Movement Rehab offers structured online rehabilitation and exercise therapy sessions tailored to individuals presenting with musculoskeletal conditions. These include, but are not limited to:

  • Postural malalignment

  • Muscle imbalances

  • Chronic and acute injuries

  • Post-operative recovery

Therapeutic Approach

The rehabilitation program integrates the following evidence-based modalities:

  • Clinical Pilates-based exercise therapy: Focused on core stability, postural control, and functional movement restoration.

  • Bodymaster Method® (manual therapy): Applied through guided neuromuscular re-education and joint mobilization techniques adapted for virtual delivery.

  • Physical therapy assessment protocols: Modified for online use to evaluate movement dysfunction, pain patterns, and biomechanical deficits.

Treatment Objectives

  • To reduce pain and inflammation

  • To restore functional mobility and joint integrity

  • To correct postural and muscular imbalances

  • To facilitate recovery following surgical intervention

  • To promote long-term maintenance of pain-free movement

Each session includes a comprehensive clinical assessment, accurate diagnosis, and a tailored exercise prescription to guide clients through their rehabilitation journey. Alternatively, clients may choose to engage in Clinical Pilates sessions without formal assessment, focusing on movement quality, intrinsic muscle activation, and overall postural health.
